The Regaleali Estate is huge - more than 860 hectares of vines - perched on an isolated mountain top in central Sicily. Owned by the Tasca d’Almerita family since 1830, for years it has produced some of the best wines on the island. The wine is light with hints of sliced grapefruit. Medium-bodied, good acidity with a flavour of lemon meringue soft and gentle and entirely beguiling.

The nose has intense, clean and refined aromas which begin with hints of apple, mineral and grapefruit followed by aromas of citrus fruits, hawthorn, almond, pineapple, peach and pear. The palate reflects the nose with a crisp attack balanced by alcohol, good body and intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, plum and almond. A well made wine. A small part of this wine is fermented in barrel which gives it a silky texture.
